FitPlanMatch ("we," "us," or "our") runs an online quiz that matches you to a personalized workout and meal plan. This policy explains what information we collect when you use fitplanmatch.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've tried to keep it plain and honest.

1. Information we collect

We only collect what we need to build and send your plan:

Quiz answers. Your responses about your fitness goals, biological sex, age range, activity level, workout preferences, equipment, schedule, eating style, food likes, foods to avoid, cooking time, and obstacles. These are non-identifying on their own and are used to generate your plan.
Contact details. The first name and email address you provide on the "Get my plan" step so we can send your plan and tips.
Basic technical data. Standard information your browser sends, such as your approximate country, browser/device type (user agent), and the referring page. This helps us keep the site working and understand general usage.

We do not ask for or store sensitive identifiers like your full address, financial information, or government IDs.

2. How we use your information

To generate your personalized plan teaser and email you your full plan and grocery list.
To send occasional fitness and nutrition tips and product updates (you can unsubscribe at any time).
To improve the quiz, the plans we recommend, and the overall experience.
To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

We never sell your personal data. We don't sell, rent, or trade your name, email, or quiz answers to anyone.

3. Cookies & analytics

FitPlanMatch uses minimal cookies and similar technologies to make the site function and to measure aggregate traffic (for example, how many people start and finish the quiz). We do not use this information to build advertising profiles about you. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may work less smoothly if you do.

4. How we share information

We share information only with trusted service providers who help us operate the site and deliver your plan — for example, hosting, email delivery, and analytics providers — and only to the extent needed to perform those services. These providers are required to protect your information and may not use it for their own purposes. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

5. Data retention

We keep your quiz answers and contact details for as long as needed to provide the service and send you your plan and tips, and then for a limited period afterward. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see "Your choices" below).

Unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any message.
Access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing us.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. We honor valid requests to exercise those rights.

7. Children

FitPlanMatch is intended for adults (18+). It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, please contact us and we'll remove it.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep your data safe.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes may be communicated by email or on the site.
